Say this chant 3 times:

“Good and loving spirits, share your banishing grace. Cast out all evil from this place!” Thank the good spirits after you’ve chanted this 3 times.


Lime is said to be an ancient eradicator of evil or negative spirits. Diffuse for 10-15 minutes as long as no contraindications apply. See Good Witch’s Correspondence Compendium for contraindications.

You can also use it in charm bags, spell jars, amulets, and bracelets for protection and warding of negative spirits.

Lime, Sea Salt, Amethyst, & Clear Quartz work fabulously at warding negative or evil spirits. Spell jars, charm bags, and circular boundaries (buried and surface) are some ways to use this banishing recipe. Remember to always add a sigil.
