Call A Lost Animal
Follow the directions for a sell jar or charm bag using the following crystals, herbs, and essential oils. Place the jar in the animal’s favorite place of the home. The animal shall return to you within one lunar cycle. If it doesn’t, something or someone is blocking it from returning.
Herbs: Aloe, Calendula flowers, Chicory flowers, Hibiscus flowers, Rose buds, Lemon Balm, & Thyme
Crystals: Tiger’s Eye, Pyrite, Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz
Essential oils - 1 drop each of: Chamomile, Geranium, Lime, Cinnamon
Your sigil : My pet, my companion, my familiar (name) the (animal) is safe at home with me.
Best moon phases: ANY
Spell Jar or Charm Bag
Enchant it and bless it with moonlight for an hour or more.
Typically, spell jars are for the home and charm bags are for carrying in purse, pocket, or car, but you can use them in any way that makes sense to you.
You do not have to totally fill the jar or bag. Just add a small amount of each.
Limit essential oils to 1-2 drops.
Sea Salt - like quartz crystal, purifies, adds good energy, and adds power
Sugar - adds sweetness, manifests the spell in a way that’s paletable
Flower(s) & Herb(s) - whatever corresponds to your purpose (use the Good Witch’s Correspondence Compendium)
Crystal(s) - whatever corresponds to your purpose - tumbled chips are perfect for jars and bags
Essential Oil(s) - only ones that are safe for you personally and relevant to the purpose of your spell jar or charm bag (see compendium for suggestions and contraindications)
Sigil - refer to The Good Witch’s Path if unsure how to make a sigil for your purpose. You can also watch videos on making sigils.
Natural Candle (optional) - white or a color that corresponds to your purpose
Note: If you’re making a charm bag, use one that is a closed material so the salt, sugar, and fine herbs don’t slip out - or omit those items. Be sure to choose the appropriate moon phase for your spell.
Cleanse your self, space, and tools if necessary. Prepare your ingredients and tools. Then, with intention of communicating your desires to the universe and letting nature manifest them for you...
Pour in salt and sugar - just enough to cover the bottom about a half an inch to an inch. You can do more if you like.
Add in your sigil.
Add in your flowers and/or herbs.
Add in your crystals.
Add in your essential oils.
Light your candle and use the melted wax to seal the closed spell jar or closed charm bag. Say the sentence that became your sigil to enchant the spell jar or charm bag.
Label it.
Place your jar or bag in the moonlight for an hour or more, removing before sunlight. Ask the good spirits to bless it while it basks in the moonlight.
When you retreive it, Say “I am so grateful it is done.”
