How to Make Moon Water
Moon Water is often used for cleansing and consecrating. It is sometimes called for in blessings, rituals, and spells.
Make it when the moon is full, waxing crescent, or in the moon phase relevant to your purposes of using it.
Get a beautiful colored jar designed for holding water. Thrift stores are a great option for finding a jar you like.
Fill it with good water - not tap water - spring water or purified water.
Add enough sea salt to cover the bottom about 1/16 inch or more.
Close the jar and gently shake it.
Place the jar in the moonlight to be charged by the moon’s energy, preferably outside unless temperature is freezing.
Say “May the good spirits bless this divine element known as water with the divine, prosperous, and protective energy of the moon and nature. I am grateful for these blessings.”
Leave the jar in the moonlight for an hour or more, removing before sunlight.
Store on altar or somewhere out of sunlight.
